OREC Emerging Transportation Lab

Background: OREC will be a leader in demonstrating future transportation.

Goal: To develop an emerging transportation teaching and demonstration lab.

Outcomes: Four OREC vehicles and an Oregon Tech security electric vehicle have set the standard for the future of transportation in the Klamath Basin. A result beyond education and research has been the immense community interest in the vehicles. The Crater Lake National Park is now considering the purchase of similar vehicles for current gas and diesel power equipment.
