Admissions Dual Enrollment Options

Enroll in a Community College, but earn your degree at OIT

At OIT, we give students the opportunity to succeed. Through our dual enrollment program, our students can take classes at Chemeketa, Clackamas, Mt. Hood, or Portland Community College while they earn their degree from OIT. It's a unique program that brings affordable education to students and working professionals around the state, and it starts with one simple application process. Interested students should review OIT's Transfer Student Admission Requirements to discover more about admission standards.

Chemeketa Community College

Chemeketa Community College is located in Salem Oregon and offers a unique educational experience for all students.  OIT and Chemeketa have built a partnership to focus on transfer options for students.  Through Chemeketa's abundant course offerings, students interested in an OIT program can start by taking classes at Chemeketa and finish at OIT. 

OIT will be offering a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene on Chemeketa's Salem campus beginning Fall 2011.  Applications for the first cohort will be due on April 1st, 2011.  For more information, contact OIT's Dental Hygiene program at 541.885.1366.

Clackamas Community College

Start your bachelor’s degree at Clackamas and finish with Oregon Institute of Technology.  The OIT/CCC dual enrollment agreement provides students with the opportunity to complete one application process for enrollment at Clackamas and OIT. The agreement allows students to access services at both institutions.  Many dually enrolled students enroll concurrently at each institution to fulfill their educational goals and needs. Clackamas Community College has three full service campuses located in, Oregon City, the Harmony Community Campus in North Clackamas, and Wilsonville. Clackamas and OIT have degree programs that maximize credit transfer for students.  The dual enrollment program is open to all U.S. citizens and residents.

Mt. Hood Community College

Mt. Hood Community College is located in Gresham Oregon and offers over 60 professional and technical programs.  OIT and MHCC have many degree programs that articulate, which promotes optimal credit transfers for students.  In particular, MHCC students have great transferability options to OIT's Health Informatics and Operations Management programs in the Portland area.  Students can begin their educational journey at MHCC and finish at OIT Portland.

Portland Community College offers a variety of degree programs to assist every student or professional in their academic or vocational journey. Through small class sizes, individualized advising, and quality instructors, PCC delivers affordable education to Oregon residents. And many PCC programs lead to degrees at OIT.
