Program Requirements
Application for admission may be submitted after June 1st. Interviews begin in December, so applicants are advised to complete their application files by December 31 to ensure early review and an interview slot. Decisions are generally made by the end of February.
The program is full-time and lasts 15 consecutive months. A new class begins every Fall term. Class size is limited and admission is competitive.
With a degree
- College level math, minimum requirements are met by prerequisites to college physics
- 24 quarter credit hours Chemistry (courses must be designed for a science major)
- 24 quarter credit hours Biology (courses must be designed for a science major) Required courses are a course in Microbiology and a course in Immunology (10-12 lecture hours)
Without a degree
A minimum of 103 quarter credit hours to include the above and :
- 6 quarter credit hours of Writing (i.e. WRI 121,122)
- 9 quarter credit hours of Social Science
- 9 quarter credit hours of Humanitites
