Dental Hygiene

Recognizing that healthcare will continue to evolve in both knowledge and technology, Oregon Tech strives to engender in students a commitment to lifelong learning that will enable them to continually adapt to the changing demands of their profession. With this goal in mind, the Dental Hygiene program is designed to develop in students critical-thinking skills, self-evaluation, ethical and moral integrity, and a high degree of compassion in patient care. This is achieved through a service learning approach that combines highly effective professional training with hands-on outreach opportunities.
