What made you decide to attend OIT?

I called the Admissions Office from Iraq during my second tour and was impressed by the professionalism that two of the staff in the office demonstrated. OIT Admissions staff made my application process seamless!

What is (or was) your favorite class?

I was active on the speech and debate team in high school, so my favorite class was SPE 111. I love impromptu speaking!

What career do you hope to have after you graduate from OIT?

I've thought about working in the Power Industry recently, but I still would like to work for the Department of Defense again; this time as a civilian.

What's the best thing about OIT?

The best thing about OIT is the impressive depth of industrial and technical knowledge that all of the staff and faculty possess. Oh...and I met my wife!

Do you have any advice for new students?

There are hard times ahead of you, both academic and personal, so be sure to reward yourself every now and then for all of your efforts and remember that you're not alone in your journey through higher education.
