Why did you choose Oregon Tech?
I chose OIT because of its reputation in the industry for having one of the best Geomatics programs. The professors are knowledgeable and helpful, the curriculum is thorough, and the students are friendly.
What do you like best about your major?
The combination of mathematics, technology, history, and being able to work outdoors.
What clubs or activities are you involved with?
I am member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon Student Chapter here at OIT as well as a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado.
What career do you hope to have after you graduate from Oregon Tech?
After graduating, I will begin my career as a Cadastral Surveyor with the Bureau of Land Management in Colorado.
Do you have any advice for incoming students?
Study hard, communicate with your professors and classmates, and get involved in extracurricular activities.
