Why did you choose OIT?

I chose OIT because of its small campus & small class sizes. I also chose OIT for its good reputation as a school and because Klamath Falls is home.

What do you like best about your major?

I love the fact that I have a lot of job options once I complete my Psych major. I also like working with people and learning more about them and myself.

What clubs or activities are you involved with?

AT OIT I am currently involved in Psychology Club, Psi Chi (International Honor Society in Psychology), and National Society of Leadership and Success. I am also involved in other activities, volunteer services, and clubs outside of OIT.

What career do you hope to have after you graduate from OIT?

I’m hoping we will get a master’s program for Psychology at OIT by the time I graduate! I’m going to earn my master’s in Psychology and then open my own family/child psychology practice.

Do you have any advice for incoming students?

Don’t stress about what EXACT path you want to take. Try a little of everything and see what excites you the most and then stick with it. As long as you enjoy it, you can’t go wrong. Also, study, but don’t make it your life! Balance study time with play time and you will have a good college experience.
