Software Engineering Technology

Our main campus in Klamath Falls offers a traditional course of study leading to an associate's or bachelor's degree.   Graduates of the Software Engineering Technology (SET) Program will have a thorough understanding of the key principles and practices of applied software engineering, including possessing the ability to identify, analyze, test and solve non-trivial software engineering technical problems.

The hardware/software common first year allows you to take courses in both hardware and software. This common core enables you to sample courses in the CSET programs before choosing your college or career path, therefore making an educated decision based on your experiences in your first year of college.

Interested students can earn both a bachelor's degree in computer engineering technology and software engineering technology at the same time. The ability to be able to design both hardware and software is highly sought after in industry since they know and understand both the hardware and software aspects of computers. Major industries seek graduates that can design both hardware and software.
