Tuition Reciprocity Program
Oregon Institute of Technology has arranged tuition reciprocity agreements with several Northern California community colleges. These agreements allow a limited number of qualified out-of-state students to attend Oregon Tech while paying in-state tuition rates.
Q. Which community colleges participate?
A. College of the Siskiyous (Weed, California), College of the Redwoods (Eureka, California) and Shasta College (Redding, California).
Q. Who is eligible?
A. Each of the colleges has its own policies regarding participation and
you should contact their admissions office for more information (links
to these are provided below).
Q. What is the procedure?
A. Contact each community college directly. Upon satisfying the colleges
requirements, the college will issue you a reciprocity permit which
must be presented to OIT. You will need to apply for admission to OIT
and meet all OIT admission requirements as well.
Q. Does reciprocity work both ways?
A. Yes, qualified Oregonians can be granted a reciprocity permit to attend
College of the Siskiyous or College of the Redwoods at significantly

admission to OIT, pay the application fee and submit official
transcripts.
