2011-12 Continuing & New Students
Continuing Oregon Tech students will receive an email notification to their Oregon Tech account that will direct them to their award. Students will need to electronically sign their award on their Web for Student account.
If you receive a request for additional information, please return those items ASAP. Award letters cannot be processed until all documents are received.
*If you are at less than full-time status in any term, let the Financial Aid Office know. If your enrollment status is different than what you are set at, release of your aid might be held.
2012-13 Continuing & New Students
Continuing students will receive emails to their Oregon Tech accounts. New students will be sent letters. Award specifics will be available on Web for Student.
Students may also be notified about the Financial Aid office needing additional information. Turn in all needed documents as soon as possible. An award letter cannot be processed until all documents are reviewed.
IF SELECTED for verification we may need a Federal TAX TRANSCRIPT from the IRS along with a 12-13 Verification Worksheet. If a student, parent or spouse did not file a Federal Tax Return, we will need copies of any W2s. *Note: we can no longer accept copies of a Federal Tax Return.
Please be aware of new changes for the 2012-13 aid year in regards to refunds. Adding and dropping classes up until the end of the second week of a term can change the amount of aid and refund you will receive. Be aware that you may have to pay back funds to Oregon Tech after dropping classes during that time frame.
