SME Certification

Oregon Tech Seattle offers review classes for both the Certified Manufacturing Technologist and Certified Manufacturing Engineer exams. Students completing the course(s) receive college credit. The exams for both certifications are offered on the last day of class, although students are not required to pass the exam in order to pass the class.

Students can apply to the Learning Together and Quality Trough Training Programs for tuition/fee assistance, otherwise all students are responsible for payment of tuition and fees. The exam fee of $195.00 is not covered by LTP and must be paid for at the time of the exam. The SME membership fee of $42.50 is also not covered by LTP and must be paid for by the student.
