Become a volunteer by contacting Anne Hiller-Clark, the Shaw Librarian. Volunteering makes a huge difference to the library and to local history.

These are some current activities volunteers do at the Shaw:

Conducting oral history interviews
Arranging Shaw Events
Promoting interest in local history
Fundraising
Answering reference questions from users
Organizing and describing archival collections
Researching and describing photographs
Researching and writing content and stories for the library's website
Assisting with general library operations
Writing articles for the Journal of the Shaw Historical Library
Indexing issues of the Journal of the Shaw Historical Library
