Major: Nuclear Medicine Technology
Hometown: Portland, OR
I wanted to go into healthcare, specifically something in medical imaging and hopefully find a program in Oregon. I found Oregon Tech and later learned it was one of the top schools in the west for medical imaging.
It has to be the patient interaction. The main reason I got into healthcare was to help people and hopefully make their day a little better then it was before they came into my department.
I was a member of the Society of Leadership and Success and I play intramural softball. I work almost full time and have 4 kids, so any free time I have is taken up by them.
The plan is to be a Nuclear Medicine Tech and go wherever the job is.
Work, work, work. Whatever you want to do, be passionate about it and don’t worry about the time. Four years will go by whether you are in school or not and at the end of those four years, you can look back at how fast it went and look forward to a better future.
