Professional Program: How to Apply

Admissions Update - The MLS application window has been extended to January 20, 2017. 

Detailed Instructions for the MLS Professional Program 

The application window for for the professional year of the Medical Lab Science Program is currently open through December 31, 2016.  If you would like to be considered for the 2017-18 cohort that begins September 25th, 2017, please have your application packet submitted by the due date. 

Applying to the Oregon Tech-OHSU Medical Laboratory Science Program is a two-step process.

Step One - Oregon Tech Admission (Non-Oregon Tech Students)

If you are not already an Oregon Tech student, you must apply for admission to Oregon Tech in order to be considered for admission into the Clinical Laboratory Science program. You may apply online here. Select "Pre MLS" for your major. You will be considered a transfer student. You can find information on transfer students here - Transfer Students.

Please note: 1) full admission status is required for entry into the MLS Professional Program;
Admission to Oregon Tech does not mean that you are accepted to the Clinical Lab Science professional program.

Application Fee

Please pay the $50.00 non-refundable application fee at the end of the online application.

College Transcripts

All applicants must send official transcripts from each college or university attended directly to the Oregon Tech Admissions office at: 3201 Campus Dr., Klamath Falls, OR 97601

Step Two - MLS Professional Program Application

You must apply to the MLS program by completing a MLS program application. Read the Application Instructions for complete details. Before contacting the MLS Department Office with your questions, you are strongly encouraged to read the FAQs.

Applications to the Medical Lab Science program are accepted from September 1 through December 31. Applications submitted before September 1 are not accepted.
