BAS in Technology and Management

Technology and Management degree

Oregon Tech’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology and Management (BAS) is designed specifically for students who have completed a technical Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Science degree and are seeking career advancement into management or in their technical career field.

The degree builds on a core of 60 credits of Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses taken as a part of an AAS, or AS degree program. To this core set of courses from the associates degree, the BAS degree adds courses in business, management, information technology, communications and other general education courses.

Courses for the BAS program are offered on the ground at the Klamath Falls and Portland campuses and also online.

Students attending schools that have a dual enrollment agreement with Oregon Tech can finish their Associate degree at the same time as they are taking classes at Oregon Tech.

About Our Program

The degree builds on a core of 60 credits of Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses taken as part of the AAS or AS degree, and adds business, management, information technology, and general education courses to complete the BAS.

Goals for the BAS program include:

  • Offer a high quality management degree to students existing career technical degree
  • Remove geographic barriers for place bound students with online program
  • Supply a highly educated workforce to Oregon's industries and organizations
  • Collaberate with community colleges to provide a high credit transfer path for students in CTE AS & AAS programs
