Matt Rosenfield

Class of 2011

The things we learn in this program are extremely relevant to the forefront of budding industries that are not only likely to become a major part of the economy, but are also going to revolutionize how humans produce energy.

When I graduate I would like to design comprehensive energy solutions for residential and commercial buildings.

The overwhelming reason I chose OIT Portland and why I think the REE program will continue to do well is the REE Ninja himself, Dr. Robert Bass.

I have helped build an axial flux generator, I helped design a temperature-responsive pump-control circuit, used in the senior project/shop room. I also helped design and build a prototype for an Off-Peak Air Conditioner, targeted at an undifferentiated market sector
