Robert Allen Ertler

Class of 2010

At OIT I feel the overall experiences I gained from the courses have helped me not only earn a degree, but understand the role and how to function as a Mechanical Engineer in industry.

I have been the Secretary of the OIT Portland ASME chapter.

It’s been a long road going part time and transferring over, but it is well worth sticking it out, because no one can ever take away your hard-earned degree.

I chose to attend OIT in Portland because it is close to where I live and my instructor at a community college graduated here and recommended it.

After I graduate I plan to find a position in industry as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
