OHSU and Oregon Tech: A Partnership in Education

Since 1977, Oregon Institute of Technology has partnered with Oregon Health and Science University to offer Paramedic Education and Clinical Laboratory Sciences. These reputable programs offer classes and externships taught by dedicated faculty from both Oregon Tech and OHSU, Oregon's only research and health university.

Become a Paramedic

Our Paramedic Education Program is an integral part of OHSU's Emergency Medicine Program. For 12 months, students study the art and science of emergency care through didactic and clinical training as well as field internships. After graduating, students are eligible for state and national certification exams.

Help Diagnose and Treat Disease through Clinical Laboratory Science

Clinical laboratory professionals are the detectives of the health care world. They search for clues to help prevent, diagnose and treat disease. Using high-tech laboratory and computer equipment, they provide the test results used by practitioners to help determine diagnosis.
