Why did you choose Oregon Tech?

I chose Oregon Tech because it offers hands‐on engineering experience at a relatively affordable cost compared to most colleges/universities. I also love its small class sizes. When I was in high school, I took a few college classes at Oregon Tech. I liked that all the professors remembered me personally and are always willing to help when I have questions.

Why did you choose your major?

When I was in high school, I had the chance of learning about the engineering field and became interested. I've also always loved Math and Physics and been quite good with these subjects since I was little. I enjoy learning how everything works, so Mechanical Engineering fits my interests and skills.

What do you plan to do with your degree?

After I graduate from Oregon Tech, I will either continue my education, or start working as an engineer.

What would you like us to know about you?

As officers and members of the International Club, Society of Women Engineers, Engineering Honors Society, and Engineering Ambassador, I have met a lot of cool people and students here at Oregon Tech. I have gained invaluable experience and skills of communicating and working with different people, organizing events, and working on projects.

Oregon Tech has provided me with quality education, hands‐on experience outside of class, skills that will prepare me for my future career, and a chance to meet friends that I will keep for the rest of my life.
