Why did you choose Oregon Tech?

I decided on Oregon Tech because it was one of the top schools in the state; I came to this school many times while I have lived here. This place as always instilled a sense of inspiration.

What do you like most about your major?

I have two majors, the first being Biology, I love learning about the complexities of the human body, and the world. Most science majors are incredibly intelligent, but that intelligence can sometimes conflict with business needs. I wanted a Management degree so I can deal with these individuals daily.

What would be your dream job?

My dream job would be either the Dean of Medicine at a hospital, or working for the CDC.

What have been some of your favorite classes and why?

Ethics class was one of my favorite classes, it challenges you to have more behind, “well that’s what I believe.” If you don’t have sound reasons for thinking one way, you are on ever shifting ground, and that can be problematic.

Do you have employment/graduate school plans for after graduation?

Yes, I have a job waiting for me.

Is there anything more that you would like to share with future students about campus, what you wish you knew before attending Oregon Tech or anything else?

Don’t buy the meal plans unless you plan on using them. Rent your humanities, social science books, buy your science books if you can. If living off campus, try to plan not to take your car, because I don’t want to fight for a parking space.
