LEGO Beginner (Grades 1-3 in September 2018)

Dates: July 9 - 13
Times: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. each day 
Location: Oregon Tech, Boivin Hall, Klamath Falls Campus
Ages: 7 – 9 years (minimum age is 7; no previous experience)

With our new collection of WeDo 2.0 LEGOs, our students build simple to complicated structures, vehicles and objects. The experience is fun and exciting and they learn lifelong skills and make new friends! While building, they learn the fundamental principles of engineering, enhance personal creativity, learn to collaborate with other students and create without fear of mistakes. Each day students build upon the skills they learned the previous day, preparing them for the next level of LEGO class (Intermediate).

LEGO Beginner (Grades 4-6 in September 2018)

Dates: July 9 - 13
Times: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. each day 
Location: Oregon Tech, Boivin Hall, Klamath Falls Campus
Ages: 9 – 12 years (minimum age is 9; no previous experience)

LEGO Robotics (Grades 4-9 in September 2018)

Dates: July 23 - 27
Times: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. each day 
Location: Oregon Tech, Boivin Hall, Klamath Falls Campus
Ages: 10 - 15 years (minimum age is 10; previous LEGO EV3 experience preferred)

The Robotics experience using the LEGO EV3 system is exciting and challenging. Students will learn lifelong skills and make new friends! Hands-on learning and challenges will introduce students to programming, physics and scientific principles. Students will work in teams and at the completion of the camp, will have built their own automated LEGO project.

Camp Tuition:

  • Any one LEGO camp: $150 per camper
    (additional camper from the same family $125)
  • Any two LEGO camps: $275 per camper
    (additional camper from the same family $250)
  • Any three LEGO camps: $400 per camper
    (additional camper from the same family $375)

*Please note tuition includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee due at the time of application.

Camp Schedule and Lunch:

Each of the LEGO camps is a half day camp from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Optional lunch is provided Monday - Friday.

*Campers must meet age and/or grade requirements on or before the first day of camp. No exceptions to age limits.

Camper Code of Conduct:

Both you and your parent/guardian must sign this document indicating that you have read and understand the camp rules. Please return to the Coordinator by the first day of camp.
