Meet the Staff

From Left-to-Right

Gerardo Skewes

I was born in South Lake Tahoe, California but raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Being raised in a city has made me appreciate the beautiful nature that not only Klamath Falls, but the rest of Oregon has to offer. I love Cinnabon and soccer. I also love a good hike! I am currently an Applied Psychology major. If I'm not in the Diversity Center I'm either at soccer practice or the library.

Trinidad Florez Gonzalez

I was born and raised in Grants Pass, OR. However my parents immigrated to the United States from Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. Being raised Mexican-American made me appreciate the diversity not only at Oregon Tech but in all of the West Coast. I am a striker for the Oregon Tech Men's Soccer Team. My major is Marketing and I hope that one day I can take over and continue my family's restaurant legacy.

GeRysand Cabanilla

Aloha! My name is Gerysand Cabanilla, or as many of you know me as "Caba." I was born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii on the island of Oahu. The Renewable Energy Engineering major and being a part of the Oregon Tech Men's soccer program is what brought me to the City of Sunshine. This past year, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the Diversity Center staff and I have been enjoying every minute of it. The events expanded my horizons on various cultures and traditions. When I'm not working in the D.C. lounge, you can catch me in Purvine Hall working on hybrid battery-supercapacitor energy storage. Hope to see you at our events!

Lodewijk Bloemzaad (LB)

Hey! Welkom op onze website. My name is Lodewijk Bloemzaad, or as most people know me: LB. I was born and raised in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands, a town about 25 minutes south of Amsterdam. The Oregon Tech Soccer program is what brought me to Klamath Falls, and I am loving the opportunity to be away from the city and being able to enjoy the outdoors and focus on my studies and athletics here at Oregon Tech. I major in Marketing and have my sights set on owning my own business someday. Till then, you can find me always being up to something on campus, whether that’s being in class, studying, working out, at soccer practice, or working at the Diversity Center. Free Dutch Bros for whoever can say my name right the first try!
