Kapil is an assistant professor in MMET at the Klamath Falls campus. Previously, he was at University of Northern Iowa, where he worked as Research Associate and an Adjunct Faculty in the department of Industrial Technology focusing on metal casting and graphics technology. Prior to that he was an intern at Tesla Motors where he worked on aluminum alloys. His research interests include, Light Weight Alloys (Titanium and Aluminum), Bio-medical Implants, Friction Stir Welding (FSW), Severe Plastic Deformation (SPD), Metal Casting, High Pressure Die Casting, and Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing (EBAM 3D Printing).
