Last week, OCLC ILL Request IDs flipped from 19XXXXXXX to 200000000. Perhaps you wondered which library was responsible for placing that historic 200,000,000th request (yes, that’s the 200 Millionth!).

The honor goes to the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) in Klamath Falls, OR. Staff member Christine Haupt, who placed the request on behalf of a faculty member, is excited to hold the honor.

OCLC congratulates OIT for reaching this milestone!  OCLC also celebrated the 40th anniversary of OCLC resource sharing. In 1979, the first interlibrary loan was arranged through OCLC systems.  And now, the 200,000,000th request just got placed.
