Application Process for Bachelor’s Degree

Mechanical Engineering

Students wishing to apply for the Mechanical Engineering Program will need to:

  1. Submit a transfer application online to (www.oit.edu). Your will also want to send a Release of Information Form to the Oregon Tech-Boeing Program Office: Fax: at 425-965-1514. Forms can also be mailed through Boeing in-plant mail to the program office, mail code 60-AM or emailed to marcus.harrell@oit.edu.
  2. Order official transcripts from all colleges previously attended, regardless of years attended or classes taken. Transcripts should be sent to:

  3. Students with less than 36 college credits and a 2.5 GPA will submit a non-admit application online and will be eligible to register for up to 8 credits per quarter until they have reached enough credits and GPA requirements to be eligible for full admission to the program.
  4. Overseas transcripts will need to be sent to a transcript evaluation service. These services provide US equivalency credits for overseas colleges and universities. Please request that a copy of the evaluation and transcript be sent to the address listed above. Service providers include, but are not limited to:

    World Education Services
    Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc.
    Josef Silny & Associates
    International Education Research Foundation

  5. Students must enroll with The Learning Together Program at The Boeing Company, specifically choosing Oregon Tech as the school they want to attend.
