Oregon Institute of Technology’s Civil Engineering Department was recently awarded the 2012 Walter LeFevre Award (Small Program Winner) from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

More than 1,200 new laser/optics technicians and engineers are needed per year in the US and only 230 students graduate with that specialty.

 

Marilyn A. Dyrud, communication professor with the College of Health, Arts, and Sciences at Oregon Tech, was selected to receive the 2013 American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) Fredrick J. Berger Award.

Due to COVID-19 health and safety precautions, all courses will be taught through remote delivery for the entire spring term between April 6 and June 12, 2020.
