Klamath Basin high school students compete in 2025 regional math contest at Oregon Tech

Oregon Tech hosted the 2025 Regional Math Contests on April 15. The competition was open to high school students currently enrolled in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus in Klamath and Lake Counties.

For over 35 years, the Oregon Tech Mathematics department has sponsored this event during Math Awareness Month each April to engage more high school students in mathematics.

Oregon Tech receives $1.2 million in grants to expand career pathways in technology

Oregon Institute of Technology has received two grants from the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) to support innovative workforce and talent development projects for the community. The grants amount to $1,209,546 for Applied Computing and User Experience (UX) Writing, Design, and Research.
