Running Y homeowners help raise $26,000 towards Oregon Tech scholarships

First generation students at Oregon Tech who are interested in engineering are now one step closer to achieving their educational goals, thanks to a $9,000 scholarship-directed grant from the Pacific Power Foundation

The Oregon Tech Development office—which encompasses the Foundation and Alumni Relations—has moved from campus to Downtown Klamath Falls

The “Party with a Purpose” is an annual fundraising event hosted by a committed group of volunteers who live in the Running Y community.

The Oregon Tech Foundation scholarship program currently provides 234 scholarships to deserving students, awarding a total of $640,000.

Longtime support from the Stilwell family allows for renovations to softball field

$200,000 will provide five students from Oregon high schools with fully-paid tuition and fees for 4 years at Oregon Tech, in addition to providing internships at the Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center

The John and Lois Stilwell Stadium will sport a new turf field, bull pens, wrap around bleachers with a press box, improved walkways and a field house that will include concessions, restrooms, and a team room.

The Wendt Family is known for their generosity to Oregon Tech, funding numerous initiatives over the years, including student scholarships, athletic endeavors, and the Martha Anne Dow Center for Health Professions.
