Stefan Bird is President at BrightNight, where he leads U.S. commercial functions including origination, market analytics, marketing, and communications. He brings three decades of energy industry experience, including 25 years in C-level roles across Berkshire Hathaway Energy subsidiaries.
Bird previously served as President and CEO of Pacific Power, a division of PacifiCorp, retiring from that role in January 2024 after leading retail service to 800,000 customers across Oregon, Washington, and California. Under his leadership, PacifiCorp expanded its renewable energy portfolio from under 100 megawatts to more than 7,000 megawatts and built over 630 miles of interstate transmission. He lives in Canby.
