Application and Admission Processes
The Master of Allied Health (MSAH) seeks candidates with an interest in advancing or diversifying their career in a health-related field. The MSAH program attracts both professionals and recent graduates who are highly motivated and are prepared for the time commitment and academic rigor of a graduate program. To be selected for the MSAH, applicants will submit a personal statement of interest, academic transcripts, resume, and professional recommendation letters. Candidates that meet admissions requirements will participate in a pre-interview to ensure the program is the right fit for their long-term goals and interests.

Application Materials
Applicants to the Master of Allied Health (MSAH) program at Oregon Tech shall provide the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution in an allied health, social science, health administration or related field
- Transcripts/GPA: Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and 3.0 for the last 90 quarter credits (60 semester) credits of coursework.
Academic Standing: Be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended. - Personal Statement: Applicants will be required to write a statement that addresses career goals and relevance to the program, evidence of aptitude for graduate work and evidence of potential for success in the field.

- Reference Letters: Applicants to the program will be required to provide three letters of reference (at least one academic and one professional) that address the applicant’s preparation, abilities, and character. Letters from family or friends are not considered.
- Notice of Potential Background Check: As part of the MSAH program, students complete a capstone project. Applicants are expected to be aware that some study sites, which are chosen by each student, may require a background check.
- Interview: Applicants will participate in an interview in the presence of at least one member of the admissions committee, which will cover how the applicants background, current role and future goals align with the MSAH program.

- Request official transcripts from all regionally accredited colleges and universities attended
- Students transitioning from one of Oregon Tech’s programs should not submit new transcripts if the records are already on file.
- Currently enrolled students, or those who graduated from Oregon Tech within the past two years, do not pay an application fee
