September Bridge is TOP’s way of introducing first-time freshman who live on campus to the community, the university, the program, and to each other. The Bridge program offers many opportunities to learn about yourself, the resources available to you, and to get a taste of college.
Student Success Seminars
Students selected for Bridge will enroll in both ACAD 107 (Bridge) and ACAD 207. Students can sign up for these classes during their registration event or can call our office for instructions on how to register for them through their Web for Student accounts.
ACAD 107 is our week long Bridge program that takes place before classes begin. At the end of Bridge you will earn one college credit for completing the program.
ACAD 207 is our TOP Student Success seminar that lasts the full academic year. You will take this class with the students you met during Bridge. This class is worth three credits (one credit per term) and will build on your Bridge experience with even more academic success information and learning experiences.
