Ongoing Opportunities to Serve

We have found that many of our students have a desire to serve but don’t know how to identify opportunities, while many local organizations struggle to find volunteers. In order to help bridge this gap, we have created an online database of volunteer opportunities in our community! This list will continue to be updated as we receive more registrations from community agencies, so check back often!

Volunteer Fairs

During the Fall and Spring quarters, Campus Life and ASOIT hosts an Involvement Fair. Come join us to learn about community agencies and service opportunities for students. This is a great chance to meet agency representatives in person and find a project that fits your personal interests and goals.

Fall 2015: October 13, 2014
Spring 2016: April 12, 2015

Alternative Break Service Trips

Spring Break- Students participate in a week long community service adventure in a different location. Our first trip was Spring 2013, when we traveled to Sisters, Oregon and assisted in a remodeling project for a veteran. This year the V-Owls are headed to San Francisco to help communities in need and several conservation agencies.

Summer Break- Students travel to Sisters, Oregon to volunteer at Teen Reach Adventure Camps to serve at-risk youth in our community.

Participants are asked to contribute a small financial commitment to the trip, but the majority of costs are covered by Campus Life.
