Leadership and Cultural Competency Development Program

The Student Involvement & Belonging Office would like to introduce this exciting opportunity for our campus community to be a part of Wing-shop! Wing Shop is a series of workshops, or “Wing Shops”, that give students an opportunity to develop skills and competencies that will not only help students become successful in their career(s) but in their personal lives as well. These Wing Shops are geared around the importance of leadership and cultural competency. We will help guide students through these Wing Shops as we focus on our five main themes which include Civic and Cultural Engagement, Cognitive Complexity, Interpersonal Competency, Intrapersonal Competency, and Practical Skills. After participating in these Wing Shops, our hope is for student leaders to then take flight and utilize these skills and competencies wherever they go.
