Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Outstanding community college students who demonstrate financial need, will to succeed and breadth of interest and activities. Applicants should demonstrate achievement and academic ability, desire to engage in and contribute to the world, self-confidence, and resilience.

Udall Scholarship – Tribal Public Policy or Native Health Care
Due Date:
February 21, 2018 (Oregon Tech campus deadline)
Scholarship Amount: 
Up to $7,000 per scholar
Eligibility: 
Applicants must be current college sophomores or juniors committed to careers related to tribal public policy, or Native health care, must be native American or Alaska Native, and plan on attending full time during the 2018-19 academic year.

Udall Scholarship – Environmental Issues
Due Date: February 21, 2018 (Oregon Tech campus deadline)
Scholarship Amount: Up to $7,000 per scholar
Eligibility: Applicants must be current college sophomores or juniors committed to careers related to the environment and plan on attending full time during the 2018-19 academic year.

Wells Fargo Veteran’s Scholarship
Due Date:
February 28, 2018
Scholarship Amount: Up to $7,000
Eligibility: Be honorably-discharged (no longer drilling) veterans or spouses of disabled veterans who have served in the United States military, including the Reserves and National Guard, and have received a Certificate of Eligibility from the Department of Veterans Affairs or another document of service. Open to students who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate (first Bachelor's) or graduate (first Master’s degree) study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year. Must be Pell-eligible and have applied for Title IV and completed FAFSA to ensure full discovery of actual unmet need and use any military education benefits for which they are eligible in the upcoming academic year. Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent.

Society of Women Engineers Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Student who has completed at least one year of studies in an ABET accredited school with an intention to enter any engineering field.

Sportaton Scholarship

Eligibility: Open to high school students graduating this calendar year or students currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade school. A 700+ word essay is required.

P.E.O. Chapter U/Endowment Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $500 minimum
Eligibility: This award is intended to assist deserving women pursuing educational goals at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls or at Klamath Community College.  Academic standing, potential to reach goals, and family financial need are the three most important criteria in the selection.  Preference will be given to students with unique circumstances such as women reentering school after a significant break in education; women who have dependents; and women with any other special circumstances.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Scholarship

April 15, 2018
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Eligibility: Must be a graduate of a Baker County High School or a current Baker County resident who has at least a college sophomore status by September of 2018 and who is enrolled in a health care field, such as RN, LPN, Radiology or Medical Laboratory Technician, Occupational, Physical or Respiratory Therapy or similar areas.

Construction Financial Management Association Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000-3,000
Eligibility:
Students enrolled in either a Bachelors or advanced degree program in finance, accounting or construction management, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. A 300 word essay is required.

Eligibility: Must be a US citizen with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Must be interested in a career in technology or e-commerce post-graduation.

CIA Medical Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Three awards of $1,000 each and seven awards of $250 each
Eligibility: Must be a legal resident of the United States (or holding a valid student visa) studying at an accredited two or four-year program at a college in the U.S. A 1,000-3,000 word essay is required.

Eligibility: The scholarship is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post-secondary educational institution. Engineering as a field of study is not a requirement. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the applicant's response to the essay prompt located on the AES website.
