Transfer Student Scholarship

Scholarships specific to students transferring from a community college to a four-year college or university.

Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship
Due Date: Varies by campus
Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Outstanding community college students who demonstrate financial need, will to succeed and breadth of interest and activities. Applicants should demonstrate achievement and academic ability, desire to engage in and contribute to the world, self-confidence, and resilience.

Dr. Ralph Waldo Stearns, Sr., Nurses’ Education Fund Scholarship
Due Date: May 26, 2017
Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Applicants must be in nursing education with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Must have completed high school and show satisfactory coursework in some of the following: physics, chemistry, math, or general science. Priority will be given to Klamath Basin or County graduates.

Joann Burns Memorial Scholarship
Due Date: May 26, 2017
Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Any student accepted into or enrolled in a full-time program leading to a career in Health and/or Science field. Priority is given to individuals who have lost a family member to cancer, attended a Klamath Basin high school or have been active in community service. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.

James Bocchi Memorial Scholarship for Healthcare Education

May 26, 2017
Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Available to any student accepted to begin or is enrolled in a full-time program leading to a career in the healthcare field. Applicants need a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. First consideration given to students enrolled in a nursing program. Priority will also be given to students who have attended a Klamath County or Klamath Basin high school.

P.E.O. Chapter U/Endowment Scholarship

April 15, 2017
Scholarship Amount: $500 minimum
Eligibility: Open to women currently enrolled at Oregon Institute of Technology or Klamath Community College. Academic standing, potential to reach goals and financial need will be considered. Preference will be given to students with unique circumstances such as women reentering school after a significant break in education; women who have dependents; and women with any other special circumstances.

Senior Care Innovation Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Five awards of $1,000 each
Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program in a medical, nursing or social sciences related major. The student must be planning on pursuing a career that involves working with senior citizens.

BHW Women in STEM Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $3,000
Eligibility: Women who are pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree and are majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics during the 2017 school year.

Klamath County Republican Women Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Full time Oregon Tech (Klamath Falls Campus) or KCC students (male or female), with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and who are registered Republicans.

Eligibility: The scholarship is available to high school juniors and seniors as well as students currently registered in any post-secondary institution. There is an essay requirement.

Eligibility: Students enrolled in an associate, bachelor's or graduate level program in a business or human resources related major. College-bound high school seniors who plan to major in human resources are also encouraged to apply.

BigSun Scholarship

Eligibility: All student athletes, regardless of which sport they participate in, are eligible for this award. Must be a high school senior or attending a post-secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.
