Scholarships specific to students transferring from a community college to a four-year college or university.

Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship
Due Date: Varies by campus
Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Outstanding community college students who demonstrate financial need, will to succeed and breadth of interest and activities. Applicants should demonstrate achievement and academic ability, desire to engage in and contribute to the world, self-confidence, and resilience.

2016-17

Oregon NASA Space Grant Scholarship
Due Date:
May 20, 2016
Scholarship Amount: Up to ten $5,000 awards
Eligibility: Freshman, sophomore or junior students pursuing majors in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM). Student must maintain good academic standing and be a US Citizen.

Out To Innovate™ Scholarship for LGBTQ+ Students in STEM
Due Date:
June 4, 2016
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Eligibility: Scholarships are intended for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) programs who are either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or an active ally of the LGBTQ+ community. The scholarships are designed to promote academic excellence and increased visibility of talented LGBTQ+ students in STEM careers.

Abbott & Fenner Scholarship Program
Due Date: June 14, 2016
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Available to high school juniors and seniors as well as students currently enrolled at any accredited post-secondary institution. A 500-1000 word essay is required.

ABC Humane Wildlife Control & Prevention Academic Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Applicants must be a woman studying or planning to study the fields of science (excluding social sciences i.e. economics), engineering, mathematics, or technology

Axol Science Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $2,000
Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for a graduate or undergraduate degree (BS or higher) in a life science for the 16/17 academic year

EverSpark Autism Awareness Scholarship

August 30, 2016
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited college or university, AND have been diagnosed with autism of any form OR are studying autism-related research at a university. Must have a GPA of 2.6 or higher.

College Student Scholarship
Due Date: October 31 (every year)
Scholarship Amount: $500
Eligibility: The scholarship is available any student enrolled in a NON-nursing college degree program, certificate course, or graduate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA. A 500-800 word essay is required.
