Student/Faculty/Staff-Owned Computer Guidelines
For all faculty and staff-owned computers we will:
- Recommend which replacement laptop/desktop/accessories to purchase
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
NOTE: We don’t install or loan out CDs of any software such as Microsoft Office and Symantec Antivirus. This is a licensing violation.
For all student-owned computers we will:
- WITH THE STUDENT PRESENT, assist them with a backup
- WITH A SIGNED DATA LOSS WAIVER AND ALL NECESSARY DISKS, assist them with a format/OS re-install
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- DENTAL HYGIENE STUDENTS ONLY: Ensure the proper use of Patterson Eaglesoft using the terminal services server
