The College of HAS at Oregon Tech

The "H" provides programs and courses in the health sciences, such as dental hygiene, medical imaging technology, medical laboratory science, paramedic education, respiratory care, and polysomnography.

The "A" represents the humanities, social sciences, communication, and mathematics.

The "S" represents biology and the pre-professional programs leading to graduate work in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and other graduate level health professions. These excellent programs are guided and nurtured by about 80 full-time as well as a number of well-qualified part-time and adjunct faculty members who serve Oregon Tech students within HAS majors and through service courses for all students.

In addition to its academic programs, the College of HAS also includes the Martha Anne Dow Center for Health Professions. Home to programs in medical imaging, pre-medical laboratory science, physical therapy, and respiratory care, the Dow Center provides the tools and resources to keep students at the forefront of leading-edge technologies and uniquely positions Oregon Tech to meet society’s demand for health-care professionals.
