It is easy to get to know the people in my classes, ask for help, and work on team projects. I also like how challenging the upper-level classes are. The teachers and homework assignments make me feel smarter all the time because I am making connections between new concepts (like geodesy) and old concepts (like basic geometry and plane surveying).

We're excited to announce a new partnership between Oregon Tech Environmental Sciences and Klamath Outdoor Science School to collaborate on environmental education initiatives in the Klamath Basin. In 2023, Oregon Tech added a Recreation and Science Ambassador track within its Environmental Sciences program.

"Most Geomatics courses are taught by licensed land surveyors that have industry connections. Also, they have the longest-lasting Geomatics department with an emphasis on surveying in the nation." "I like that the Geomatics program is so heavily focused on surveying. I get to use total stations, LiDar, and GNSS equipment hands-on.
