A Little Bit About Me
I am going to Oregon Institute of Technology this fall to pursue a degree in Bio Health Science, and I hope to get a doctorate in physical therapy in the future. I have grown up playing soccer and when an athletic trainer was introduced to my team, I knew it was something I wanted to be someday. I love to travel and hope one day my career could help me with that. My family means the world to me, and I am so excited that I can stay so close to them while in school.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
Oregon Tech is not only the cheapest option, but also the smartest choice for me that still allows for a good education. Growing up with Oregon Tech in my backyard, most people take for granted the fact that an education like that could be so easy. After further researching the school, I was so excited to see that they offered the degrees that I wanted, both Bio Health Science and a doctorate in physical therapy.
My Plans After Graduation
After graduating with my degree in Bio Health Science, I plan on going back to school to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I have recently been shadowing at Elevate Physical Therapy and have enjoyed my time there. Not only is the work environment great, but the people there are so kind. I hope to someday work at that clinic and be an on-field acute trainer for that company.
