With Fit Learning, Oregon Tech students learn to integrate many cutting-edge methodologies into one cohesive, science-based framework. Our approach includes a blend of precision teaching, explicit instruction, curriculum-based assessment, and Relational Frame Theory, with ongoing data collection and analysis. Using this comprehensive approach, our students gain hands-on experience empowering learners to achieve mastery and fluency, foster rapid skill acquisition, and develop cognitive resilience.

More than a tutoring program, Fit Learning combines the science of behavior analysis with years of research and practice to create individualized approaches to teaching Reading, Math, Logic, Spelling, and Writing to learners of all ages.

The Fit Learning method coaches your child to fluency: rapid processing speed and a measure of true mastery or proficiency. This form of “cognitive fitness training” improves memory, increases confidence, strengthens resistance to distractions & fatigue, and improves the ability to quickly and effortlessly learn new things. Our method consistently produces a full year’s growth in only 40 hours. We currently offer Reading, Math, and Logic interventions in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

All learning coaches receive extensive training in the principles of learning science. You will develop exemplary instructional skills. You will transform students’ academic aptitudes and overall cognitive abilities, with excellent experience opportunities in preparation for graduate school in the fields of Psychology or Education. Learning coaches receive unparalleled training in the application of evidence-based instruction and get hands on experience as a scientist practitioner.

We are looking for students who are able to complete reading and math competencies at the high school level, have reliable transportation (we work off campus, including in local schools), be able to pass a background check, have some experience working with children, and can bring excitement and fun to work every day.
