The Office of Strategic Partnerships cultivates relationships with industry partners to enhance the university and the education we offer. In doing so, the office promotes Oregon Tech’s economic development mission and ensures that our students have access to the technology and opportunities needed to truly master their crafts.
The office helps to develop internship and externship sites; works to ensure our classes utilize top-tier equipment and software for optimal learning experiences; and secures external funding, such as grants and project sponsorships. The staff also works with faculty members to identify and create potential industry collaborations and represents the university in various spaces, such as legislative advisory councils.
We’re always interested in hearing from potential business and association partners. If you’re interested in working with Oregon Tech, please contact Dr. Abdy Afjeh, associate provost of Research and Academic Affairs, in the Office of Strategic Partnerships at 503.821.1279.
