Connect by living on campus
Living on campus is a great way to make life-long friends, meet people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, participate in campus activities, and develop a close-knit community with your peers.

Housing and Residence Life is open and here to serve our residential students. As the university continues to respond to COVID-19 expectations, please note all classes will be remote January 4-18, 2021. Housing and Residence Life is committed to supporting our students’ success and will open as planned on January 2, 2021. Residential students are welcome to return to campus and begin classes, even though online, from the comfort of their room. Housing and Residence Life will be available as the term begins, offering opportunities to re-connect with friends and form new study groups for winter term classes.

The Housing Office is open over the break Monday-Friday until 4:00 pm. Contact us at 541-885-1094 or at housing@oit.edu if there is something we can help you with over the break. Please note, the Housing Office will observe the campus closed dates of December 24, 25, 31, 2020 and January 1, 2021 so will not be available those dates. Please leave us a message and we will reach out upon our return to the Housing Office.

Even though the Housing Office is open, all residential buildings are only accessible by current residential students. Please call the Housing Office at 541-885-1094 or at the number posted on the exterior doors if you need assistance. We appreciate your understanding that our priority is to ensure the safety and security of our residential staff and students.

The 2021-2022 Housing and Meal Application is set to go live in January! As soon as it is open, you are welcome to apply at www.oit.edu/housing. We are so excited to welcome you to our community.

Our Klamath Falls campus offers two housing facilities to allow students to stay on campus as they study, which comes with a host of perks. In addition to convenience, staying on campus has been shown to improve academic success. It allows you to fully immerse yourself in the campus culture, make lasting friendships with people of diverse backgrounds, and partake in countless activities—including annual traditions such as Tech Con, Spring Fling and the local favorite, the Halloween Haunted House.

Late-night study sessions. Workouts in the newly remodeled Recreation Center. Board games in the study room. BBQs in the Quad with friends. Living on campus provides experiences that shape your time at Oregon Tech—and your future.

We are happy to answer your questions about on campus living as you prepare to join the Oregon Tech community!

Note: As a cost savings measure and to participate in the Oregon Work Share program, Oregon Tech Housing staff are not working one day/week. The Housing Office will be closed on Fridays until Housing opens for the academic year in September 2020. We appreciate your patience as we adjust to these changes together.

The Klamath Falls campus offers two housing facilities. The Residence Hall offers double rooms with bathroom and shower rooms in each community as well as shared kitchens on each floor. The Village has student apartments that include three-, four-, and five-bedroom units, all furnished with a common living area. The Portland-Metro campus does not offer on campus housing, but there are many apartment buildings near campus, both in Wilsonville and in the surrounding communities. Learn more about floor plans or Portland-Metro housing options.
Rates vary depending on the housing facility. Current rates are $5,280 for a full academic year for a shared room in the Residence Hall and $6,579 for a full academic year for apartments in the Village, which consist of private bedrooms with common living areas. Get more information on housing costs.
Students living in university housing must choose a meal plan. Different plans offer a varying number of meals and amounts of Owl Bucks. Owl Bucks are usable at all dining facilities across campus. Browse our meal plans.
