Welcome to the College of Health, Arts, and Sciences at Oregon Institute of Technology!
It is both a privilege and an honor to serve as Dean of this vibrant and diverse college. Whether you are a prospective student, current student, faculty member, staff member, alumnus, community partner, or visitor, I am delighted that you are exploring the exceptional educational opportunities our college offers.
The College of Health, Arts, and Sciences is committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, research, creative activity, and service. Through our distinctive blend of academic rigor and hands-on, applied learning, we create transformative educational experiences that prepare students to succeed in their careers, contribute to their communities, and lead meaningful lives.
As one of Oregon Tech's largest and most diverse academic colleges, we offer a wide range of degrees, certificates, and programs spanning from the undergraduate, graduate, to the doctoral levels. Our disciplines encompass health professions, natural sciences, mathematics, humanities, social sciences, and communication. Together, these programs prepare students to become healthcare professionals, scientists, educators, artists, communicators, innovators, and leaders who make meaningful contributions to society.
What distinguishes Oregon Tech is its unwavering commitment to applied learning and student success. I firmly believe that our greatest strength is our people. Although I am new to Oregon Tech, I have already been inspired by the passion, talent, and commitment of the people who make this institution so special. I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside our college and university communities as we advance the mission of the College of Health, Arts, and Sciences and contribute to the goals of Oregon Tech's strategic plan.
