Report Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

Oregon Institute of Technology has a responsibility to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse and to hold accountable those who engage in it. The Oregon Institute of Technology Fraud, Waste, and Abuse policy sets forth guidelines for reporting known or suspected fraud, waste, or abuse within the institution.

Hotline

Oregon Institute of Technology has contracted with EthicsPoint, an independent, third-party vendor, to provide this confidential and anonymous telephone and Internet system for reporting your concerns.

When employees do not feel comfortable discussing these concerns directly with campus management, reports can be made through the hotline.

Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local authorities.

Whistleblower Protection

Employees who identify themselves and make a good faith report of suspected fraud, waste, or abuse are protected from retaliation, in accordance with the Oregon State Whistleblowers Protection Law (ORS 659A). The Oregon Tech will take steps to maintain confidentiality for employees reporting suspected financial irregularities, misconduct, safety issues, or other concerns to the extent possible under the law.
