Program Includes:
- Welcome and overview of campus resources and services by Dean of Students, Bonita Bontrager.
- This will include information about FERPA (student privacy rights), accessing student records (proxy access or release of information forms), Oregon Tech emergency alert system, and our request for support/ concerns for student protocol.
- Keynote presentation about transitioning to college which impacts the whole family by Stacey Fredericks, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with opportunities to connect with other families.

Parent & Supporter SOAR is held each year before the start of fall term classes. We want you to get to know us and hear about all of the fantastic services provided to your student.
We want to get to know you because we know how important it is for the whole family to feel a part of our community. When we welcome a new Hustlin' Owl, we welcome the whole flock that they are a part of!
