Treehouse Header Photo

The Treehouse formed in the summer of 2018 when the Women's Resource Center and Diversity Center merged programs in order to provide more support to the students of Oregon Tech. The Treehouse is a student-run program under Multicultural Life and is housed in the student programs suite on the second floor of the College Union (Klamath Falls Campus). We work actively against oppression, hate, sexism, racism, inequality and other injustices to promote a safe and welcoming environment for women, people of color, the LGBTQIA+ community, and other diverse groups. Our vision is centered on a deeper understanding and appreciation for diversity, inclusivity, and equality for the people of Oregon Tech, Klamath Falls, and the world at large.

The Treehouse Committees:

  • Cultural

  • Gender, Sexuality, LGBTQ+

  • Community and Outreach

The Treehouse committees meet each week, plan events and programs, and actively engage with the campus community. The Treehouse staff is made up of 8 student employees and two staff advisers. Our space is open for others to use including studying, cultural club meetings, and events.

Quiet Room

Within our space we offer a Quiet Room for those on campus who are looking for a space to pray, meditate, relax, or may just need a quiet place to be for a little while. It's open to all students, staff, and faculty.
