Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Outstanding community college students who demonstrate financial need, will to succeed and breadth of interest and activities. Applicants should demonstrate achievement and academic ability, desire to engage in and contribute to the world, self-confidence, and resilience.

Sallie Mae Bridging the Dream Scholarship
Due Date: February 14, 2020
Scholarship Amount: $20,000
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled or plan to enroll in at least half-time postgraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2020-2021 academic year and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 2020-21

P.E.O. Chapter U/Endowment Scholarship
Due Date:
April 15, 2020
Scholarship Amount: Awards (one or more) are anticipated to be at least $1000
Eligibility: This award is intended to assist deserving women pursuing educational goals at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls or at Klamath Community College.  Academic standing, potential to reach goals, and family financial need are the three most important criteria in the selection.  Preference will be given to students with unique circumstances such as women reentering school after a significant break in education; women who have dependents; and women with any other special circumstances.)

Joann Burns Memorial Scholarship for Health and Science Education
Due Date: May 15, 2020
Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: This scholarship is available to any student accepted into or enrolled in a full-time program leading to a career in the Health and/or Science field. Must have lost a relative to cancer (parent, sibling, aunt, uncle or grandparent), attended a Klamath Basin high school (public or private) and volunteered 50 hours of community service and/or show proof of hours spent aiding an individual battling cancer. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75, with preference being given to 3.0 and above.

James Bocchi Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility This scholarship is available to non-first year college students attending and/or accepted into a nursing program at KCC or OHSU/OIT. Must have graduated from a Klamath County or Klamath Basin high school, public or private. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required.

Klamath Falls Elks Nurse’s and Health Career’s Education Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: This scholarship is open to students studying health related fields, with priority given to those accepted/attending the OHSU Nursing program.  Priority also given to graduates of a Klamath County or Klamath Basin high school in any school, public or private. Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Holman Scholarship

Dr. Ralph Waldo Stearns Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Applicants must be in nursing education with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Must have completed high school and show satisfactory coursework in some of the following: physics, chemistry, math, or general science. Priority will be given to Klamath Basin or County graduates.

Sallie Mae Bridging the Dream Scholarship
Due Date: February 14, 2020
Scholarship Amount: $20,000
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled or plan to enroll in at least half-time postgraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2020-2021 academic year and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Seneca Scholarship

Due Date: March 1, 2020
Scholarship Amount: $10,000
Eligibility: Applicants must be either attending an Oregon institution of continuing education, or they must be an Oregon resident who is attending any institution of continuing education. Awardees of the Seneca Scholarships will be chosen solely based on what is judged to be the most outstanding essay that best answers the forest management essay question. Essays will be 5-10 pages in length.

AISES Intel Growing The Legacy Scholarship Program

Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: AISES student members have easy access to scholarships for American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and Indigenous peoples of Canada through the Online Scholarship Application. Native Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, enrolled full-time at an accredited college/university, and be pursuing a bachelors, masters, or doctoral degree in the following majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Considerations may be made for students pursuing Chemical Engineering, Material Science, and Physics.

Scholarship Amount: $500 (2 awards)
Eligibility: Full time Oregon Tech (Klamath Falls Campus) or KCC students (male or female), with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and who are registered Republicans.
