Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Outstanding community college students who demonstrate financial need, will to succeed and breadth of interest and activities. Applicants should demonstrate achievement and academic ability, desire to engage in and contribute to the world, self-confidence, and resilience.

P.E.O. Chapter U/Endowment Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Awards (one or more) are anticipated to be at least $1000
Eligibility: This award is intended to assist deserving women pursuing educational goals at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls or at Klamath Community College.  Academic standing, potential to reach goals, and family financial need are the three most important criteria in the selection.  Preference will be given to students with unique circumstances such as women reentering school after a significant break in education; women who have dependents; and women with any other special circumstances.)

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Undergraduate, graduate, and incoming students are eligible to apply. Must be legal residents of the United States. There is an essay requirement of 750-1,000 words.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Scholarship
Due Date: April 15, 2019
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Eligibility: Must be a graduate of a Baker County High School or a current Baker County resident who has at least a college sophomore status by September of 2019 and who is enrolled in a health care field, such as RN, LPN, Radiology or Medical Laboratory Technician, Occupational, Physical or Respiratory Therapy or similar areas.

Klamath County Republican Women Scholarship
Due Date: April 15, 2018
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Full time Oregon Tech (Klamath Falls Campus) or KCC students (male or female), with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and who are registered Republicans.

Archie Linman Memorial Scholarship
Due Date: April 29 2019
Scholarship Amount: $1,000 (2 awards)
Eligibility: Graduating high school seniors enrolled in 4-H and/or FFA OR currently enrolled undergraduate college students who were a member of 4-H and/or FFA while in high school. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Stratos Jet Charters Scholarship
Due Date: May 1, 2019
Scholarship Amount: $2,000
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in a college or university within the United States or transitioning from high school to an institution of higher learning in the U.S.A. Must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and be on track to enter a field of the aviation industry. 1,200-1,500 word essay is required.

Texas Electricity Examiner Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $2,000
Eligibility: All applicants must be enrolled, or due to be enrolled, as a full-time student at an accredited US college or university with a minimum 2.5 GPA. A 500 word essay is required.

Eligibility:  Must be a resident of the US, enrolled as an undergraduate and performed at least 20 hours of community service in the last year. An essay of 500-800 words is required.

ABC Fundraising Volunteer Recognition Scholarship
Due Date:  June 30, 2019
Scholarship Amount: $2,500
Eligibility:  Open to current high school junior, high school senior, college undergraduate, or graduate students that have participated in consistent volunteer work. An essay and volunteer verification form are required.

Lodlois Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000 (1st place) and $250 (2nd place)
Eligibility:  Both undergraduate and graduate students of 18+ age are welcome to apply. A 700+ word essay is required.

Geneva Rock Scholarship

Eligibility:
Scholarship applicants must be in pursuit of construction-related careers including, but not limited to: Construction management, civil engineering, business, and commercial/professional sales. Students involved in trades such as welding, diesel tech, heavy equipment operations and building tech are also welcome to apply. Four 250 word essays are required.

Apriorit Computer Science Scholarship

Eligibility: Must be a first-year student in a computer engineering or computer science program at a US-based college or university, have a minimum composite SAT score of 1350 or ACT score of 27, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be passionate about computer engineering.

The Otto and Verdell Rutherford Congressional Intern Scholarship

August 15, 2019 (fall), January 15, 2020 (winter/spring), March 30, 2020 (summer)
Scholarship Amount: $6,000 (full-time) or $3,750 (Part-time)
Eligibility: To apply, candidates should complete the internship application for Senator Merkley’s office on his website; indicate interest in applying for one or both of the scholarships; and submit the additional essay questions as applicable.

The ‘We the People’ Congressional Intern Scholarship
