Biography
James Eastham has BS from Oregon Tech and a MS in Engineering & Technology Management from Portland State University. In addition, he has an executive certificate in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University. Professor Eastham has over 25 years of industry experience in semiconductors and wireless communications. He has worked in the following capacities: Cellular/Microwave Technician, Associate RF Engineer, System Performance Engineer, RF Design Engineer, Sr. RF Design Engineer/Team Lead, Test Engineer, Sr. Test Engineer, Test & Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Product Engineering Manager, Sr. Director of Product Engineering & Customer Quality, and Sr. Director of Worldwide Mobile Design and Development. Professor Eastham is passionate about the field of engineering and technology management. His work includes papers published in Engineering Management Journal, Technology and Investment Journal, Planning and Roadmapping Technological Innovations (book), Technology Development (book), and conference proceedings including Portland International Conference on Management of Engineering and Technology and Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology.
