John Timmerman joined as a Computer Numerical Control Operator/Research Assistant at OMIC R&D. John brings a new perspective to the world of manufacturing. Earning an associate degree in Machine Manufacturing Technology and an Associate of Science from Portland Community College, John brings an analytical and scientific skillset to the world of
applied research.
John is new to the manufacturing sector but has a diverse range of prior work experience. From being enlisted in the United States Air Force, working across the west for the park service, and instructing at PCC, John is excited to begin his career with Oregon Tech and the exciting field of applied research. John was raised and resides in Vernonia, Oregon. Having this opportunity locally means a lot. John is excited to put his skillset and interests to the test in the realm of
research and development. His hobbies include fishing, hiking, and photography.
