During this time of difficulties, a team of Oregon Tech student veterans has come together to help the greater community of veterans. Through their program, Vets Helping Vets, the Student Veteran Program team have been working their way around the Klamath Basin, literally. Performing landscaping, groundskeeping, maintenance, and other tasks, they are making themselves known as a resource for veterans or families of veterans in need. 🎖 One such story is Ray of Chiloquin, who has been diagnosed with cancer since the team began getting to know him. 💙 While Ray is currently undergoing treatment, the team is headed back to his home to make sure he has a safe place to retreat to.
