The Shaw Historical Library will hold their annual banquet on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Oregon Institute of Technology. Join the Shaw and co-sponsor Discover Klamath for an evening of fine food and entertainment as they celebrate the rich and varied history of the Klamath Basin.
John Daniel, award-winning Oregon writer, will present a tour-de-force program: Listening to What Lives Outside Our Lives. Recently, radio personality Garrison Keillor read from John Daniel’s new collection, Of Earth: New and Selected Poems (Lost Horse Press, September 2012), on his public radio program, The Writer’s Almanac.
The Old Time Fiddlers will provide entertainment during the social hour and there will be a silent auction with unique regional artifacts up for bid.
